complete all your documents!
basically this documents are required if you wish to travel abroad for whatever purposes. different countries might have different requirement. i'm going to UK
what and how?
1. international passport...first timer like me, bring along your photostat my card along with 2 pieces of passport size (5x3cm) with clear face. i mean really clear! they want your forehead and eyebrow to be visible. compared to british council, immigration's requirements for passport picture is not that strict. and yeah, your printed face on passport are are going to be...hmmm....see it for yourself...
2. certificate of good conduct..basically a certificate that said you have not committed any criminal offences, and ..a good citizen. complete the form via online application at ministry of foreign affairs website then submit it online. there are also other support documents required (photostat IC and passport) which can be sent by hand or post. if you want it fast, get a statutory declare from any commisioner of oaths, then the process will only takes less than 2 hours. without statutory declare, you can still proceed but the process will take 2 months. you can sent documents and collect the certificates at ministry of Foreign affair in Putrajaya if you are in peninsular of Malaysia.
3. visa
haven't done this yet because UK doesn't need visa. but you can always confirmed with British Council. their requirement for passport photo are......hmmmm.... no smiling, no frowning, and definitely NO PHOTOSHOP EDITING. your face must be in natural pose. even spectacles are not allowed. since we will be there less than 6 months, only visiting visa are required, but still we're not confirm of the procedure..(unable to contact British Council)
4. program paperwork
We need our date!!!!!
i thinks that's the most important thing for now....still waiting for date confirmation..
