yeah, completed OSCE, the skills that we were tested on are:
peadiatric module:
1- orogastric tube feeding
2- umbilical cord dressing
3- anthropometry (length, head circumference and chest circumferance)
4- teaching on MDI with aerochamber
obstetric & gynaecology
1- calculation of EDD, POG and parity
2- Fetal kick/movement charting
critical module:
1- ETT suctioning
2. CVP reading
3-ABG Interpretation
4- ECG interpretation
Homecare
1- criteria of homecare
2- teaching on delayed wound healing
Oncology
1- teaching on BSE
2- Management of extrsvasation of cytotoxic drug
one secret to ace OSCE is DISCUSSION! yeah, so far yesterdays discussions, arguments, simulation practice really help a lot! at least 80% skills that we predicted did come out. and this is the first time i don't felt like crying after the last bell ring. well i do feel stupid in 1 or 2 stations obviously the extravasation station, but overall, i had done fair enough in other stations.
for all who are willing to argue & spent time talking about the same thing over and over again, i just want to say....
i owe you all a lot!
now is the time to bury myself in those 6 inches piles of notes...
