Me and Wani had eagerly waited to watch this movie. and so our wish were granted today. i admitted that i seldom watch the animated version at nickelodeon (also known as Avatar the Legend of Aang) but enough for me to know what the story is all about. The story line works just fine for me, every scene its exciting. i don't know why a lot of people ( in blogs and online forum related to this movie..) disagree with the cast selection, maybe they don't really resemble with the animated version but after watching this movie, i think they did a splendid job. Noah Ringer was cute enough to play Aang. and the actress and actor who plays Kattara and Sokka look just nice (forgive me..i can't recall their names~~).Though Dev Patel do look weird playing the role of Zuko and his burnt scar was too faint, he too did a good job especially in potraying his emotion as a deserted son. i also love to watch the waterbender moves. it looks graceful that remind me of a malay traditional dance plus a bit of Tai Chi.
well, this was just the first part of the movie and i can't wait for the sequel!!
